News roundup 2015

2015 has been a fabulous year for Café Sunlight, and so having been too busy to update our news section, it now seems like an appropriate time to reflect on the past 12 months, and thank the customers, venues and team who have made the year such a success. 2015 was the year that Café Sunlight became an eligible caterer for City of London Corporation events at the Guildhall. Cafe Sunlight also became an approved supplier to the Coin Street venues; Bargehouse & Oxo Gallery on the South Bank. We were very honoured to Cater for the 70th anniversary celebrations for CARE International, and for Artists Drawing a Line Under Torture – a private view and art auction in support of Freedom from Torture. The team served up beer brewed by fellow Social Entrepreneurs Two Fingers to one of the largest and most successful Social Enterprises, HCT Group. Other corporate clients included Matrix Chambers and Telereal Trillium, and the DCLG. We served up canapés & drinks at the Guildhall, Rochester and the National Centre for Circus Arts, Hoxton and lunches at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square. The team always love weddings and were delighted and honoured to cater for Sepi and Chris in September at their beautiful venue in Worth, Kent. Meanwhile back at the Sunlight Centre the community cafe continued to provide volunteering and training opportunities, as well as a warm welcome and a healthy, homemade meal or snack.
