Sunlight Events share the expertise and experience we have developed through a decade of pioneering work in our community. This work has focused on development, social enterprise, active participation, policy reform and local change.

We run events which focus on learning, rigourous debate & discussion and sharing of ideas. We believe in participation, scrutiny of current practice and positively encourage challenge.

Attending a Sunlight Event is not an average day at work – we provide a platform to openly discuss ideas and gain inspiration. We want you to leave stimulated and celebrating ‘practical inspiration’ – real ideas that make a difference to your everyday work.

Sunlight Events are grounded in a local context. Our staff and wider network of colleagues & associates understand the issues that face your organisation from the inside out

We want as many people as possible to share this experience and so will always keep costs as low as possible.

Often, events will be hosted at Sunlight, a vibrant community space in Gillingham, home to Sunlight Development Trust and profits from Sunlight Events are used to support development projects in Medway and beyond.
