Business in the Community engaged Cafe Sunlight to cater for their first ever Sustainable Business Week. The event was held at the Guildhall in the City of London on 16th & 17th April. Over 350 delegates were served lunch and the conference was followed by three canapé and drinks receptions for 450. Dave’s homemade mini chilli cheese burgers went down particularly well and guests enjoyed a very decent glass or two of our Vermentino and Merlot/Grenache from the Languedoc. Chegworth Valley organic pressed juices were served at lunch and at the receptions and all hot drinks were fair-trade as standard. After a day of impeccably smooth service we had change of venue for day two to the historical Gibson hall in Bishopsgate (formerly the National Provincial Bank of England) and an early start where guests enjoyed Audrey’s homemade breakfast muffins, pastries and coffees followed by a sandwich lunch.

29th November 2012

Cafe Sunlight was asked to cater for the one year celebration of the KPMG sustainable procurement event. We served up some of our favorite canapés and some new ones! Guests particularly enjoyed the Scottish venison & port hot pot with root vegetable mash, and mini Kentish jacket potatoes with Somerset sour cream & chive. To drink we served the London lager and London pale ale from the Meantime brewery in Greenwich and the fantastic Alpha-Zeta wines, as well as the ever popular Chegworth Valley Kentish juices.

Their canapés were amazing – and such great people. They’re going places!
Marianne Fallon – Head of Corporate Affairs

I found Sunlight very passionate about the food & service that they wanted to deliver to KPMG clients. Their whole ethos behind Sunlight is a fantastic story, one that deserves much success.
Michael Lipscombe – Head Chef, Fine Dining
